Subject: The 2008
District 5 Meeting has been set
It is with great
excitement to announce that the date and location for the 2008 District 5
AALAS conference has been set for April 30- May 2, 2008 at the beautiful
Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, Ohio. Cherry Valley Lodge is also the
location of the new Coco Key Water Resort (indoor water park).
The conference will host
many informative seminars and offer you the opportunity to enjoy the
planned activities such as golf, which is typically a D5 favorite.
The Lodge offers many luxurious amenities such as indoor pool, exercise
rooms, library, Banyan Leaf Day Spa, a game room, beautiful courtyard with
a view, and fireplace in the lobby. The water park also offers an
outlet for young and old alike.
With the date and
location set, much planning is underway. Look for monthly updates
known as “the Monthly Dose” to keep you abreast of activities surrounding
the 2008 D5 convention. D5 has been proven to be a powerhouse in the
AALAS community. We as COB members would like to extend our
ingenuity and 5-star hospitality to all of you at the 2008 District 5
meeting.
